Mark Gurman from Bloomberg said in his latest Power On newsletter that Apple is ramping up testing of the M3 chip. At least one version of the new platform was spotted with a 12-core CPU, 18-core GPU and 36 GB RAM, according to data collected by an App Store developer. Gurman believes that Macs with the new chip built on the 3 nm process, will begin arriving in late 2023 or early 2024. The new CPU will stick to a six performance cores, while the other six will be of the power efficient type.
