The iPhone 15 was a watershed moment for the vanilla series – it got a high-resolution camera for the first time, adopted the Dynamic Island from the Pro series (but not the refresh rate) and switched over to USB-C. Even though it’s a 2.0 port for data transfers, it still supports video out. The new 48MP main camera now has 2x in-sensor zoom and produces really good results.
